Stuck with Muck

So, we pull into Proctor after driving through a freezing rain storm, relieved to be home safe and sound. We start unloading my stuff to find that it is all wet... all of it. Upon this discovery, we start looking for the source. The metal lip of the trailer had been cut away so the rubber seam didn't seal the door. The storm we just drove through, was effectively storming on my belongings.

After dropping off the trailer, cleaning my stuff, and about a week and a half of fighting with the insurance company and the U Haul in Philadelphia, I was refunded $100 for the defective equipment. So, yay for persistence!

Now, I've been home for a little over a week. I haven't gotten any wedding planning done, and I still don't have a real job. I got offered a job at Perkins to hopefully cover rent in Philly (because, no, I still haven't found a subleaser). I'm hoping for a full time job soon though. I need the benefits of health insurance since I'm out of school. I've been applying all over the city. Everything from UnitedHealth Care to Charolette Ruse from food service to retail to office work.
